Annual Town Election – April 29, 2025 - Early Vote By Mail Ballots Mailed

Town Clerk, Susan M. Galvin, would like to advise all registered voters who have applied for early-vote-by-mail that the first batch of ballots, a total of 536, have been delivered to the US Post Office today, April 10, 2025.  As we receive applications, ballots will be mailed regularly.  All ballots must be received in the Office of the Town Clerk on or before Election Day, April 29, 2025, by 8:00 PM.

When the voter receives the vote-by-mail ballot in the mail, the voter should mark the ballot, complete and sign the gold affidavit envelope and, as soon as possible, return the voted ballot (sealed inside the white envelope) to the Office of the Town Clerk. Voted mail-in ballots may not be brought directly to precinct polling places. Voted ballots may be returned by mail or dropped off by the voter or a family member at the Town Clerk's Office before the polls close. Ballots received after the polls close cannot be counted. To track your ballot, please use the following link: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/WhereDoIVoteMA/TrackMyBallot

If you wish to vote-by-mail, you will first need to submit an application for your ballot. You may submit your vote by mail application by mail, email, or fax. Further, any written request with your signature is an acceptable application. You can simply write a signed letter to apply for your ballot.   Electronic signatures, scanned applications, and photos of applications are acceptable.

Typed signatures on applications cannot be accepted unless you are a voter who requires accommodations due to physical disability. If you are unable to sign your application or mark your ballot by hand due to a disability, please contact the Office of the Town Clerk.

The deadline to request a vote by mail ballot for the Annual Town Election is April 22, 2025. Please file your request early to allow time for your ballot to be mailed to you and for you to return your voted ballot so it reaches the Office of the Town Clerk by the close of polls to be counted.
