2025 TAX BILL MAILING NOTICE

The Town is now including all owners as of 1/1/2024 on the top line of the tax bills. If a transaction has occurred in 2024, the party or parties will be included on the tax bill using a care of (c/o) prior to the name. Overview

The goal of the Assessor's Office is to serve the taxpayers of Milton with professionalism, courtesy and competence in the conduct of their business involving tax valuation, motor vehicle excise, tax exemptions and deed transfers and to fairly and equitably discover, list and value all real and personal property within the Town in a timely manner.

Tax Rates

Fiscal Year 2025 tax rates: 

  • Residential $11.09
  • Commercial $16.94

When calculating total taxes do not multiply the individual bills by four, quarterly amounts billed are never equal.

Important tax information - Please remember that the tax collector has reduced the tax bill mailings from four to two. The first quarter bill is due August 1st and will also contain the second quarter bill due November 1st. The third quarter tax bill is due February 1 and the fourth quarter tax bill is due May 1.
