Adams street, south of East Milton Square, has an important grouping of late eighteenth and early nineteenth century houses, which are set back from the street with granite walls and piers. On the left is the Glover-Adams-Gardner House (built c.1785) at 594 Adams street and to its right is the David Gordon House (built 1841) at 600 Adams street. On the right is the East Milton Congregational Church (built 1950) at the corner of Adams street and Granite Place.
